September 23rd, 2007 — Lord Voldemort, Characters
Lord Voldemort is the main evil character in the Harry Potter stories. He is Harry Potter’s enemy and is the ‘Dark Lord’ of the wizarding world.
At the start of the stories we find that Lord Voldemort has attacked Harry and his parents, who have both been killed but somehow Harry has survived and has seriously weekend Voldemort in the process. Harry is left with a scar on his head and there is a connection between Voldemort and Harry, which neither seem capable of controlling.
September 23rd, 2007 — Albus Dumbledore, Characters
Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore is one of the main characters in the Harry Potter series of books by author J.K Rowling. He is the headmaster of Hogwarts and the founder of the Order of the Phoenix, the group started to fight off the evils of the Dark Lord Voldemort.
Dumbledore cares less about ‘purity of blood’ but places strong importance on the choices people make throughout life. Unlike most wizards, Dumbledore is not afraid of Voldemort and calls him by his proper name, Tom or Voldemort, rather than ‘he who must not be named’.
September 10th, 2007 — Hermione Granger, Characters
Hermione Granger is another of the main characters in the Harry Potter stories. She meets Harry and Ron on the train to Hogwarts in the first book and after an initial dislike they all become best friends.
Hermione is an integral part of the successes of the trio as she is the most academic and is able to help out with researching and planning as well as being superior at potion making and spell casting (though not as naturally talented as Harry - harder working).
September 10th, 2007 — Ron Weasley, Characters
Ronald Bilius Weasley, or Ron Weasley, as he is better known, is another of the main characters in the Harry Potter books. Ron is a fellow Gryffindor and becomes great friends with Harry Potter and Hermione Granger. Ron and Harry initially meet at the platform for the trip to Hogwarts, they share a carriage on the train and Ron is fascinated by Harry, ‘the boy who lived’, and Harry fascinated of Ron, an ordinary wizard.
Ron is slightly overshadowed by Harry’s success and celebrity status but is nevertheless a vital character in the stories and is vital in many of the adventures the trio embark on - he also becomes a bit of a celebrity himself for his association with Harry Potter.

Harry Potter is the main character in the Harry Potter series of stories and films. In the first book, Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, we discover that Harry Potter is an orphan, who’s parents where murdered, while Harry was a baby, by Lord Voldemort.
Harry Potter spends his childhood living with his mother’s sister’s family, the Dursleys. At the age of eleven, Harry is visited by Rubeus Hagrid, who tells him that he is a wizard and he is to start attending Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
